What makes our silk special?

Our silk is Peace Silk:

It is elegant, animal-friendly, and sustainable.
The caterpillars are allowed to complete their metamorphosis.
They hatch as butterflies and continue to live.
Only then is the cocoon spun.
For a respectful approach to life.
Silk of timeless elegance and pure origin.

*Eri silk is generally Peace Silk, but in some rural cultures the protein-rich pupa from the cocoon is used as food. We cannot completely rule this out with this particular fabric.

The fabrics are left in their natural state, unbleached and undyed. We source them directly from our manufacturer, whom we have known personally for many years.
