DEVA Spray is a textile spray based on colloidal peat. It was specially developed to gently refine silk and other textiles. Only once sprayed onto the silk textile does the fine connection form between the warming qualities of the peat and the balancing, skin-friendly structure of the silk.

Ideal for:

Refreshing all DEVA Peat Silk products & other textiles
A harmonious feel when worn
A bond that lasts through several washes.

This creates a unique interplay of grounding character and delicate lightness.

Silkworm rearing takes place in the open, under natural conditions – free of chemicals and hormones. The caterpillars live outdoors and are not fed artificially.
Our silk feels pleasant on the skin – even on sensitive skin.
Silk is obtained cruelty-free. The moth hatches before the cocoon is spun.
Eco-conscious: dyeing is one of the most water- and chemical-intensive steps in textile production – we skip it for our natural white and cream silk fabrics.
By buying directly from our partner workshops we support fair conditions, mutual appreciation and the preservation of traditional craftsmanship in smallholder structures.

What Makes Silk So Good?

A good climate for skin and scalp: silk is temperature-balancing – it warms when it is cool and cools when it is warm. It can reduce excessive sweating.
Related to skin: like our skin, silk is protein-based – pleasant even on sensitive skin.
